OK, so I see these two things a lot, and people making mistakes with them, and I just gotta correct it, sorry. XD
First off; Tovero
There are a ton of Tovero HARPG Paints, but I sometimes see the genotype as nTo this isn't correct. Tovero isn't a gene on it's own, its the nickname for the combination of Tobiano and one of the Overo genes. (Sabino, Splash, or Frame)
So, you're toveros genotype isn't nTo, it's most likely:
nT, nO
nT, nSpl
nT, nSb
nT, nSb, nO
TT, nO (ect, you guys get the idea.) If anyone wants some help figuring out what combo of genes their HARPG tovero might be, send me a link, I'd be glad to help.
And now, Mixed foals.
Umm, guys. AQHA X APHA is not considered a mixed foal in any HARPG Western registries that I know of. If it has a Paint gene, it's considered pure APHA, if it's solid, its considered pure AQHA. So some of you guys are docking yourself of WD points by accident. XD
Soo, yeah, these two things have been popping up and bugging me for a while, I had to address them. XD
